The first Wednesday of every month we come together as a church to pray on behalf of our neighbors, for one another, and the Church globally. Join us tomorrow at 7pm, as we go before our Father as his children! 16 0
Pastor @jawn_o encouraged us from Matthew 13 with the comforting truth that "The Kingdom of God is nothing like we expect because its better than we could ever imagine". If you missed the sermon this past week make sure you check it out in the link in our bio! 36 0
There is a lot of confusion around how men and women are to relate to one another in the Church. Our opinions and paradigms have been shaped by previous experiences and the culture around us. But what does Christ say? In Christ, we are to have a redemptive view of friendship! Tonight we are hosting a conversation about how God intends for us to have healthy flourishing relationships across gender and ethnic lines! Join us tonight at 7pm! @ Cornerstone Church! Link in bio! 18 0
This weekend on November 9th we are having our annual Fall Block Party! There will be games, food, a clothing drive, a health fair, and other free giveaways! Come out and support the community as we seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus in tangible ways! Our aim is to show the love of Christ by loving our neighbors! Join us! 29 0
Adam eats from the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil and man is cursed.Jesus (the Last Adam) hangs on a tree, takes the curse and man is blessed. The blessing is that Jesus doesn’t just provide freedom from sin. But freedom for righteousness. The cross liberates us to live as free people now and forever. 47 2
On Sunday, our Pastoral intern Tim Simpson taught from Matthew 7:1-6, leading us through the deceitfulness of unrighteous judgment. While Christians are called to judge one another, the basis of that judgment should be a care and concern for one another’s faith; judgement without condemnation. We judge one another not based in self-righteousness but to uphold the name of Jesus. To make ourselves the template of righteousness is to place ourselves in the position of God. 38 4
